Registered NurseInfusion Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in rheumatology infusion therapy to join our healthcare team. This is a part time position ( 16-24 hours a week)- outpatient rheumatology from 8AM to 4pm in our office.
Responsibilities:
- Perform infusion therapy procedures following established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor patients throughout the infusion process, assessing vital signs and addressing any adverse reactions promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans for patients receiving infusion therapy.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of each patient's treatment and progress.
- Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in infusion therapy techniques and equipment.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients undergoing infusion therapy.
Skills:
- Experience in IV access a must
- Proficiency in administering infusions
- Strong knowledge of physiology and pharmacology.
- Ability to maintain precise medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
