Schedule/Hours:
Variable shifts dependent on surgical caseloads
Desired Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license) Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience (Circulator and/or Scrub roles preferred) BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt in fast-paced surgical environments Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, compassionate preoperative and intraoperative nursing care Assist surgical teams by preparing operating rooms and ensuring surgical instruments are sterile and ready Monitor patient status, respond rapidly to changes, and advocate for best outcomes Adhere to all infection control, safety, and procedural protocols Maintain clear, accurate documentation throughout all surgical phases
