Operating Room Nurse

Key Qualifications:

Completion of nursing program with an Associates and Bachelors degree Minimum of one year of recent experience in Operating Room Circulating Active RN license in the State of Texas, or eligibility for immediate licensure Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. CNOR certification is a plus.

Hours and Compensation:

Full-time position with hours from 7am-3pm and rotating call schedule of about 8 days per month Salary range of $45-50/hr, $20,000 sign-on bonus for a 2-year commitment, and comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities:

Utilize nursing process and collaborate with healthcare team to deliver care to surgical patients Assess patient needs, establish diagnoses, and set goals based on nursing diagnosis Plan and coordinate patient care, administering interventions as necessary Evaluate patient progress, communicate with team members, and provide patient/family education Maintain infection prevention protocols and uphold patient rights and confidentiality Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and professional development opportunities
