WORK LOCATION
Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231WORK HOURS:
Full Time Nights (7P-7A) for 36 hrs/week. Weekend and holiday requirements Neuro Trauma ICU Department highlights:- Fast paced, Fun loving, high-acuity unit
- Unique Complex Neuroscience Cases
- High-acuity traumas such as Guns Shot, Stabbings, Severe Car Accident injuries

HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
- BSN preferred.
- 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse (RN) or completion of an RN residency program Required;
- One or more years of ICU experience strongly preferred
- RN•Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required • BCLS upon hire•Require upon Hire • ACLS upon hire•Require upon Hire • CPI within 30 days of hire • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assesses the patient
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate
- Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
