  • Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Denton, 3000 N I-35, Denton, TX 76201 Work hours: Full-Time Night Shift, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 7:00 pm
  • 7:00 am
  • Sign-on bonus for eligible RN's (eligible upon hire with a signed 2-year retention agreement) ED Department highlights: Patients with critical injuries or illnesses are treated in one of our 41 Emergent Care Rooms.

Here's What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required) RN
  • Registered Nurse Upon Hire required BCLS
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required ACLS
  • within 90 days of hire CPI
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire 1-year of Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required. 2-3 year ER experience preferred. ENPC
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course
  • 12 months required TNCC
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course
  • 12 months required PALS
  • within 90 days of hire What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
