1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC, BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications, with trauma experience highly preferred. Details 41-bed Emergency Department unit in a hospital setting Sees 135+ patients per day with a 4:1 patient ratio Patient population includes stroke, ACS, diabetic, and AKD cases Facility is a Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center with 24/7 Cath Lab access, Level 3 NICU, and actively pursuing Level 3 Trauma designation Night shift schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM (12-hour shifts) Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule Requirements Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (or ENPC) CPI certification required upon contract extension Trauma experience highly preferred Valid, non-expired Driver's License required for consideration Two completed supervisor/manager references required for consideration Skills checklist completed within the last year required for consideration NURSYS verification and State Primary Source Verification from within the last 30 days required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to qualify under the radius rule for this nursing position Resume must reflect a complete work history with no gaps
