Job Description

CentralCare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Room RN Registered Nurse to provide full-time services at Darnell Army Medical Center in Fort Cavazo, TX . This is a great opportunity for Emergency Room Nurses to support our military and their families as federal civilian contractors.
Emergency Room RN Registered Nurse Details :
Pay:
$55.00 - $60.00/hour
Benefit:
PTO, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays, Additional Health + Welfare Rate of $4.57/hour
Availability:
Full Time Shift:
3 X12s + 1 8 hour shift (80 hours bi-weekly)
Schedule:
Variable - must be available to work nights
Contract Length:
1 year Preferred (opportunity to extend)
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe:
45-60 days
Emergency Room RN Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality and cost effectiveness. Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF. Perform physical exam and health histories. Provide health promotions, counseling, and education. Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions. Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals. Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel. Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergencies. Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization. Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
Emergency Room RN Registered Nurse Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Nursing Active Nursing License in
TX BLS ACLS PALS TNCC
