What You Will Do Collaborates with the care team, performs hourly rounding, monitors patients, and takes action to reduce risks while reporting significant findings. Uses nursing models to collect data, individualize care, perform technical procedures safely, and administer medications per guidelines. Demonstrates critical thinking and adheres to national safety goals in all aspects of care delivery. Sets measurable professional development goals, maintains compliance with policies, and advocates for patients. Communicates effectively, recognizes ethical or legal concerns, and takes responsibility for ongoing professional growth. Works collaboratively with peers and assistive personnel, participates in teaching, adapts to workload changes, and supports unit needs.
