Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional critical care within a high-acuity ICU environment as a Registered Nurse. This contract opportunity offers an engaging role where your expertise and dedication can make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position with variable shifts available; flexibility is appreciated to meet the needs of the ICU unit.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current, active RN license required Minimum of 2 years' experience in an ICU setting Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills BLS and ACLS certifications, with additional critical care certifications a plus Experience using electronic medical record systems Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU environment, following evidence-based protocols Rapidly assess evolving patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions Safely administer medications, including titrating vasoactive drips and other critical infusions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists, to coordinate optimal care Support and educate patients' families during difficult and complex clinical situations Ensure meticulous documentation of all assessments, medications, procedures, and progress Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety policies
