Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) PRN

Work hours: PRN
  • Variable shifts Surgery highlights: o Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team. o 8 Operating Rooms Including 3 Robotic Operating Rooms o Center of excellence for Bariatric surgery Here's What You Need
  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program
  • BSN preferred
  • One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
  • RN with one year of Operating Room circulator experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
  • RN•Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire) • BCLS•Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire) AND • ACLS•Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req What You Will Do • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process • Assesses the patient • Plans the care of the patient • Intervenes as appropriate • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions • Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other's need for information
  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers. Additional perks of being a Texas Health Registered Nurse
