Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of one year experience in PACU or post-anesthesia care Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong critical-thinking and assessment abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills Adaptability to various patient populations and procedural settings
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor post-anesthesia patients, ensuring safe recovery and pain management Assess, document, and respond to patient conditions—promptly addressing complications Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and families about post-operative care Maintain rigorous adherence to safety protocols and facility policies
