Then we are the place for you! RN/ LVN Full Time Day Shift Maintain department's supplies and keeps equipment operational. Organize, label and file charts and medical records. Help transport residents as needed. Act as an information resource for patients, families, visitors, physicians, and outside reviewers in person and/or via telephone. Complete clerical duties for admissions, discharges, transfers, deaths and passes such as transcribing orders to medication/treatment sheets, ordering medications, dietary changes, therapies etc. Complete lab and special examination requisitions and data entry, as it pertains to the medical records department. Greet visitors, doctors, and new admissions with warmth and friendliness; helping with any assistance needed. Transcribe and verify admission orders and daily doctor's telephone orders will be verified and transcribed in a timely manner. Complete medical records by reviewing and assembling paperwork in proper order into a permanent folder. Order labs, ultrasounds etc. required for new admissions.
