We provide specialized medical services including complimentary pregnancy testing, STI testing, & ultrasounds (upon qualification) professional counseling, education, and support services.

Welcoming Compassionate Professional Truthful Empowering Faithful Staff Nurse Job Description The Staff Nurse reports directly to the Director of Clinical Services. Under the authority of the Medical Director's license, the Staff Nurse provides clinical services in accordance with MCWC policies, protocols, and standards of care. The Director of Clinical Services conducts an annual performance evaluation. The Staff Nurse performs some or all the following: Clinical Care Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care while exercising sound clinical judgment and safe practices. Conduct patient health history assessments and assist as the primary patient care nurse when needed. Triage patient calls, respond to medical inquiries, and perform patient follow-up as appropriate. Provide care during emergency medical situations. Perform urine pregnancy testing, STI testing, treatments, and follow-up in accordance with clinical protocols. Communicate STI test results and coordinate prescriptions as needed. Perform finger-stick testing for pre-abortion screening and process point-of-care testing. Provide care and support for Abortion Pill Reversal (APR) patients as needed. Maintain knowledge of infection control practices, bloodborne pathogens, emergency procedures, clinical systems, supplies, and equipment. Provide accurate education regarding sexually transmitted infections, prenatal care, abortion procedures and risks, and APR services. Share the Gospel in a compassionate, respectful, and nonjudgmental manner with patients who are open to spiritual discussion. Documentation, Compliance & Operations Implement Medical Director orders and ensure clinical volunteers adhere to MCWC policies, procedures, and standards of care. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential electronic medical records and patient documentation. Complete CPS report worksheets, incident reports, and other required clinical documentation according to established protocols. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Texas state regulations, and all applicable privacy and safety standards. Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and professional clinical environment. Professional Development Maintain an active Registered Nurse license and valid CPR certification. Pursue continuing education related to women's health, obstetrical and gynecological care, and STI prevention and treatment. Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and in-service programs. Establish and submit annual professional goals aligned with the clinic's mission and objectives. Qualifications Holds a current Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing. Maintains a valid BLS or
ACLS CPR
certification. Has previous nursing experience; OB/GYN or women's health experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrates knowledge of women's health, obstetrical, and gynecological patient care. Is dependable, professional, and able to consistently fulfill responsibilities and commitments. Demonstrates a sincere desire to serve women facing crisis pregnancies, including abortion-vulnerable and abortion-minded patients.
