7:30AM-5:30PM Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Pediatric Prescribed Extended Care Center (PPECC). Our team provides skilled nursing care to medically fragile children in a supportive, family-centered environment. The LVN will work closely with RNs, CNAs, therapists, physicians, and families to ensure high-quality pediatric care throughout the day. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about pediatrics and enjoy building long-term relationships with patients and families in a collaborative setting. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to medically fragile pediatric patients Monitor patient conditions and report changes to supervising RN and physicians Administer medications, treatments, and feedings as ordered Assist with tracheostomy, ventilator, G-tube, and other skilled nursing interventions as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR systems Follow individualized care plans and physician orders Support daily activities while ensuring patient safety and comfort Communicate effectively with caregivers, families, and interdisciplinary team members Adhere to infection control, safety, and PPECC regulatory standards Participate in team meetings and ongoing training/education Qualifications Current Texas LVN license in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification Pediatric experience preferred Experience with medically fragile children preferred Experience with trach/vent, G-tube, or pediatric home health is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Schedule & Benefits Full-Time / Part-Time opportunities available Day shifts available Monday-Friday schedule Competitive pay PTO and holiday pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and continued pediatric experience
