Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Step into a vital role providing exceptional care in a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit as a Registered Nurse with a focus on critical care excellence. This contract position calls for a highly skilled RN with a passion for patient-centered nursing, advanced clinical expertise, and a commitment to patient safety.
Schedule/Hours:
36 or 40 hours per week, with guaranteed shifts Weekends required every other weekend or as discussed during interview Call requirements and further scheduling details to be discussed in the interview process
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience Strong proficiency with Meditech documentation systems Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional specialty certifications are advantageous) Ability to adapt to floating assignments as required Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver expert critical care and monitoring to patients with complex, life-threatening conditions Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to implement innovative care strategies Administer medications, therapy, and specialized interventions with precision Diligently document patient information and care activities in Meditech Maintain high standards of infection control, patient safety, and evidence-based practice Comply with hospital protocols, unit policies, and professional dress codes (navy scrubs required; clean, natural nails; hair pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; tattoos and non-ear piercings covered)
