Travel position—flexible scheduling based on department needs
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience, including Phase I and II recovery BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Previous travel nursing experience is beneficial but not required Ability to adapt to fast-paced, team-oriented environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the immediate post-anesthesia period Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and ensure patient safety during recovery Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff Educate patients and families regarding post-op care and recovery expectations Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
