Role Summary Responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care by collecting medical data, supporting clinical decision-making, and coordinating treatment plans in an oncology-focused healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Record and monitor patient vital signs, including height, weight, allergies, and medication updates Obtain blood specimens and assist with laboratory testing and interpretation Gather and document detailed patient medical histories Collaborate with providers to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) Coordinate patient referrals, follow-up appointments, diagnostic tests, procedures, and hospital admissions Manage incoming calls related to patient care and referrals Perform administrative duties including scheduling, filing, faxing, and front desk support Required Skills & Competencies Oncology and gynecology nursing knowledge Strong patient care and clinical support skills Excellent customer service and patient interaction abilities Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems Phlebotomy experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of nursing experience At least 2+ years of gynecology experience Active Texas State Board of Nursing License Positive attitude with a detail-oriented and team-focused mindset Experience Level Intermediate Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Katy, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $47.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
