Registered Nurse, Surgery | PRN (As-Needed) All Nursing Professionals Ambulatory Surgery
DESCRIPTION

This position is PRN working as needed by the department.

Coordinates the patient's care between providers and hospital staff. Supports the patient's physical and emotional needs, while assisting the surgeon. Documents care provided accurately and completely, including interventions, equipment, and supplies.
Required Education:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing
Preferred Education:
Bachelor of Science in
Nursing Required Skills:
Basic computer keyboard skills
Preferred Skills:
Meditech proficiency
Required Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Texas license as a Registered Nurse, certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS),
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Operating Room (CNOR)
Preferred Experience:
One year experience as a circulator in a hospital or outpatient surgery
