Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse and Caregiver to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient-centered care, support daily living activities, and promote comfort and dignity for individuals across various care settings. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, ensuring accurate medical documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Support medication administration under supervision, following strict aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies to enhance their comfort and safety Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare professionals in acute care, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), emergency medicine, or post-acute settings to deliver seamless patient care Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy, or wound dressing as trained and authorized Support patients with complex needs including behavioral health challenges or infectious disease management in various inpatient or outpatient environments Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent caregiving credential Prior experience working in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities is highly desirable Experience in diverse healthcare settings including hospitals, hospices, emergency departments, or pediatric units is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support procedures Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities across home & community care environments Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate attitude and a commitment to patient service excellence Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives!
