1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at a Level 2 Trauma Center in Texas, requiring a TX or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Details Work in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab of a Level 2 Trauma Center Department operates 4 labs and manages multiple modalities including Trauma, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular, and Vascular procedures Experience with Merge Hemo hemodynamic monitoring system (monitored experience required) Day shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM On-call shifts require the ability to respond on-site within 30 minutes 13-week contract Requirements Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification (AHA only) Current ACLS certification (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required Experience with multiple procedural modalities preferred (Trauma, IR, Cardiovascular, Vascular) Diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US home address Driver's License required for consideration Two professional references required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include assessing, preparing, and positioning patients for diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures Performs conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as needed Communicates patient condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures Prepares and documents the patient plan of care and manages equipment and supplies throughout procedures Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates living within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate — contact your recruiter for details COVID vaccination is not required
