Epic Full Job Description Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, evaluations, and treatments
- Administer medications and treatments IV route as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment options
- Assist with discharge planning and coordination of post-treatment care
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Utilize EHR
- Perform sterile processing of instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills:
- Strong clinical skills in various areas of patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and adherence to protocols
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations
- Chemotherapy certification preferred Willingness to complete chemotherapy certification course if not currently certified.
