Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (NP). Job in Lubbock Gr8Jobs

Work Dates Needed:

8/01/2026 - 3/31/27 (With the ability to start sooner through emergency credentialing for providers with clean files.)

Preferred Schedule:

Shift Times:

7am-7pm or 7pm-7am. Must be willing to work nights and weekends. Weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call are required. Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 10 minutes while on call.

Inpatient/Hospital Scope of Work:

The physician assistant will provide inpatient Pediatric Surgery coverage, including patient evaluations, hospital rounds, treatment management, and surgical support as required. Responsibilities also include participation in weeknight and weekend call coverage, responding promptly to surgical consults and patient care needs while maintaining the required response time to the hospital.

Patients Per Shift:

15-20. The provider will care exclusively for pediatric patients, generally up to years of age and will not be responsible for adult patient care.

Licenses, Certifications, Requirements:

Candidates must hold an active NP TX license, DEA registration, and Board Certification. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and

PALS EMR

EPIC Pay Rate Preferred:

110.00/Hr.
