13 Weeks Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) with prior travel and charge nurse experience for an acute care hospital assignment in Plainview, Texas. This role requires a highly skilled RN capable of functioning independently in a fast-paced acute care environment while also assuming Charge Nurse responsibilities when needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong Med/Surg Telemetry skills, leadership abilities, and experience caring for patients across a broad range of acuity levels and age groups. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients Monitor patient conditions and cardiac telemetry Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate patient documentation within the EMR system Function independently as a staff nurse with a 1:6 patient ratio Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed Oversee operational workflow for the Acute Care Services Department Support coordination between Medical Surgical and ICU departments Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory guidelines Requirements Active RN License required Current BLS Certification required Current ACLS Certification required Current PALS Certification required Prior Med/Surg Telemetry experience required Prior Charge Nurse experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Strong clinical competency across multiple patient populations and acuity levels Ability to independently manage charge responsibilities For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732 791 4807
