1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an ICU position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring seasoned travel experience and cardiac, neuro, and general surgery backgrounds. Details Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center ICU assignment with floating required across ICU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg units, as well as all facilities within the state Patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3 Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (18:45-07:15) Every-other-weekend commitment with 6 weekend shifts expected per 6-week schedule 48-hour workweeks are approved No on-call requirements Epic EMR experience required Block scheduling is not required Requirements Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required Seasoned travel nursing experience required (3+ years preferred) Cardiac, neurological, and general surgery ICU experience required Trauma experience required Epic EMR proficiency required At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Candidates who previously worked at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per diem) must disclose the location and dates of employment Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility if they were previously employed there as permanent staff Minimal RTO is expected for this position; limited time-off requests may be considered Licensed nursing staff (RN, LVN) are required to wear solid navy blue scrubs; print tops are not permitted Free surface parking is available in designated Employee/Visitor Parking lots on campus
