Wound Care / Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN)

Crown Point Health Suites operates a 108-bed skilled nursing facility that requires precise clinical oversight. This position directs wound care management protocols and tracks skin integrity across the patient population. You will manage complex clinical assessments and coordinate directly with physicians to adjust treatment orders. The role prioritizes specialized clinical interventions over standard medication cycles. You will supervise prevention strategies and ensure compliance with medical directives. This focus allows dedicated time for detailed wound documentation and patient status monitoring.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits Pay Rate:

LVNs start at $30/hour. RNs start at $35/hour. Higher starting rates are available based on verified clinical experience.

Responsibilities Administer prescribed wound care treatments and perform complex dressing changes. Conduct weekly skin assessments and document measurements and healing progress. Identify alterations in skin integrity and initiate preventive care protocols. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and attending physicians regarding treatment modifications. Maintain accurate clinical records within the electronic logging system. Qualifications Active Texas Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license. Previous wound care or IV therapy experience preferred (criteria adapted from comparative regional network tracking within the Job Post Gem Brain of Data). Must pass a criminal background check. Must be able to pass a drug screening. Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance. Atmosphere & Environment The facility is located at 6640 Iola Ave in Lubbock, Texas.
