Wellness RN- IV Therapy

Job Overview The Wellness Nurse plays a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of patients in various healthcare settings. This position requires a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse who can provide comprehensive care, assess patient needs, and implement appropriate health interventions. The Wellness Nurse will play a key role in delivering infusion and wellness therapies, including IV hydration, vitamin therapy, and advanced treatment modalities Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings. Perform IV starts and administer IV infusions safely and effectively Monitor patients during infusion therapy for safety and comfort Educate patients on treatment plans, wellness therapies, and aftercare Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure the highest quality of care Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with company protocols Qualifications Current Texas RN License (required) Proficient in IV insertion and infusion therapy Previous infusion/wellness experience preferred Strong communication and patient education skills Passion for holistic wellness and patient healing Skills Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and critical care practices. Experience with acute pain management, triage processes, and emergency medicine protocols. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9 & ICD-10) for accurate medical documentation. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring memory or dementia care. Knowledge of hospice & palliative medicine principles Strong communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams. Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as case management, critical care transport, or outpatient services.
