Job Description:
Shift:
7:00pm
  • 7:00am or 7:00am
  • 7:00pm Full Time and Part Time Available Assist with newborn care at deliveries, providing immediate care and support to newborns during and after delivery.
Maintain skills in neonatal resuscitation to respond effectively in emergencies. Demonstrate assessment skills in high and low-risk obstetrical patients to identify potential risks and health issues. Identify and report maternal and newborn problems to the physician promptly. Assist with the transfer of newborns to other facilities when indicated, ensuring safe and efficient transfers. Accurately identify and band newborns, mothers, and significant others to prevent mix-ups. Document all care activities accurately, including band identification numbers in medical records.
Education:
  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
  • 1+ ED and Women's nursing experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support
  • CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) [Required]
  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
  • Neonatal Med Certification (NEONATAL MED) [Preferred]
