Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, and post-acute care environments. Perform detailed patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate physiological responses to treatments. Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies following strict protocols and safety standards. Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct patient education on medication management, disease processes, and self-care techniques to empower recovery and independence. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update individualized care plans. Utilize your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to inform clinical decisions and enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications Valid nursing license with current registration; experience in private duty or home health nursing preferred. Demonstrated expertise in Level II trauma center care, hospital medicine, emergency medicine or emergency room experience is highly valued. Proven skills in IV insertion, venipuncture, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS). Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical records management. Experience caring for patients with infectious diseases, geriatrics, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or post-acute conditions is advantageous. Strong knowledge of vital signs assessment, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure precise patient care. Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams.
