McKinney, TX Job Details Full-time $34.62 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications RN License Full Job Description The Clinic RN functions under the general supervision of LifePath Systems Nurse Supervisor of perspective location and Asst. Director of Nursing with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs clinic-based services to promote service excellence continuous quality improvement by providing medical oversight and education to individuals and families served. Serves as integral part of treatment team, providing guidance and input for both clinical medical teams. The RN will coordinate services between programs within the BH Division assist in multidisciplinary team meetings as assigned/requested. Assists with prescribers' schedules for perspective clinic location to ensure ease of access and effective clinic flow. The RN is responsible for ensuring all services are provided in a trauma informed, person and family oriented, and culturally and linguistically appropriate model of care. This role also provides oversight, education, and adherence of policies and procedures for all medical services including medication distribution center (MDC), the patient assistance program (PAP), and medication inquires within the clinics. Performs other duties as assigned to best meet person and family needs and ensure effective coordination of care. Education, Training, & Experience (including licensure & certification) Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the Texas Board of Nursing Current, full, active, and unrestricted Texas nursing license as Registered Nurse required. Experience working in a community mental health clinic or CCBHC preferred. Experience with electronic medical records. Current CPR certification. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Utilize the nursing process while utilizing behavioral health policies and procedures to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care of individuals served. Possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of the psychopathology and psychotropic medications. Act as a patient advocate and provide care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to patient/family diversity while preserving each patient's autonomy, dignity, and rights. Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships with various levels of professions and programs. Provide/document individualized patient/family education as indicated. Self-starter who works closely with all team members and takes initiative in completing tasks. Organized, detail oriented, computer proficient, and able to write clearly and professionally. Excellent communication and listening skills. Ability to delegate tasks appropriately among team for operational excellence. Collaborates with patient, family, and other healthcare providers in developing plan of care and providing patient care.
