Travel Nursing Assignment Job Overview The ideal candidate will have strong circulating experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment. Scrub experience is highly preferred but not required. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients. Function primarily as a circulating nurse during surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols and infection control standards. Accurately document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical record system. Participate in on-call rotations as required by the department. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred Experience Experience with the following surgical specialties: Orthopedics (Total Knees, Hips, Shoulders, and Ankles) Podiatry Gynecology General Surgery Laparoscopic Procedures Additional Information On-call requirement: Rotating call schedule, approximately 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month. Experience caring for
COVID-19
patients may be required.
