Job Description

Midland Medical Lodge operates a 125 bed skilled nursing facility focused on structured clinical protocols and consistent patient care routines. The overnight shift requires diligent medication administration, accurate documentation, and immediate response to changes in resident acuity. Our nursing team relies on systematic operational flow to maintain compliance and clinical safety throughout the night.

Night shift, 6pm-6am

Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and clinical protocols. Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident conditions and manage overnight clinical needs. Document patient vitals, clinical interventions, and behavioral changes in electronic health records. Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants on the floor to ensure proper care delivery and adherence to safety standards. Coordinate with the pharmacy and medical staff regarding urgent resident care requirements. Atmosphere & Environment The physical layout at 3000 Mockingbird Lane supports organized workflow and accessible supply centers across our 125 bed environment. Operational systems are designed to provide clear shift routines, reducing administrative friction for floor staff during overnight hours. Clinical staff work within defined guidelines to ensure predictable care patterns and clear reporting structures. Qualifications Active license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of Texas. CPR certification from an approved provider. Must pass a criminal background check.
