1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring multi-specialty surgical experience including General, Ortho, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT, with on-call availability. Details Work in the Operating Room (OR) of a hospital setting Specialties include General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT surgical cases Pediatric experience preferred Schedule varies weekly — either 3x12-hour or 4x10-hour shifts with rotating days off; shift times are 6:30 AM-7:00 PM On-call is required Block scheduling is not available Requirements Active TX RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required Experience in General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT surgical specialties required Pediatric OR experience preferred Flexibility with a variable weekly schedule is required 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result results in immediate cancellation with no exceptions Candidates should avoid any substances that could cause a positive drug screen result prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products 12-week contract
