1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatrics position requiring NIH, BLS, and PALS certifications on a night shift schedule. Details Pediatrics unit in a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week contract Requirements Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience preferred (required years of experience are firm) 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers with a strong work history may be considered Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted Facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana — a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could produce a positive result
