ENFORCEMENT DETENTION CENTER
The Ector County Law Enforcement Detention Center needs a part-time LVN nurse to work in the Jail with male and female inmates. The nurse will be under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse and Director of Nurses, and under the general supervision of the Sheriffs Office and County Health Authority Physician.
PRIMARY DUTIES
The LVN nurse will be responsible for determining health needs of Ector County Jail inmates. Routine medical assessments and treatment will be conducted, with referrals to physicians and dentists made, as necessary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be licensed and have education in nursing from an accredited school of nursing and be licensed to practice as a LVN in the State of Texas. Must have CPR training and certification. Applicant must have a Texas drivers license with an insurable driving record.
SALARY:
$36.12p/h no benefits; work days & hours: Sunday-Saturday; 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am, shift work and weekends
