"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The RN will manage a diverse patient population, support interdisciplinary care teams, and deliver safe, effective nursing care while maintaining hospital standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care for medical-surgical patients Monitor and assess patient conditions Administer medications and treatments as ordered Manage patient care assignments with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio Float between units as needed Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately Maintain infection control and patient safety standards Support admissions, discharges, and ongoing care coordination
Required Skills & Experience:
Medical Surgical nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required (Hardstop requirement) Ability to work in high-acuity acute care environment Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Ability to manage multiple patients efficiently First-time travelers accepted
