Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management. Implement aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in both inpatient and outpatient settings to coordinate care. Document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately in medical records. Participate in memory care activities for geriatric patients, promoting their well-being and quality of life. Assist with neonatal ventilator management when necessary, ensuring the highest level of care for newborns. Skills Strong knowledge of nursing practices related to geriatrics, medication administration, and patient care protocols. Experience administering injections with proficiency in aseptic technique. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy. Ability to work effectively in both inpatient and outpatient environments, adapting to the needs of diverse patient populations. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
