1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Round Rock, TX, requiring at least 1 year of general OR experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, and neuro surgery. Details Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 11 OR suites Surgical specialties include general, orthopedic, neuro, robotic (thoracic, GYN, urology), cardiovascular, vascular, and trauma surgery Typical procedures include X-LIF, A-LIF, ACDF, craniotomy, Mako Robot total joints, CABG, valve surgery, TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, EVAR, and open/laparoscopic general surgery 1:1 patient ratio per OR room Equipment includes the da Vinci Xi Robot, Mako Robot, Stryker laparoscopic tower, surgical microscopes, Stealth navigation, and endovascular hybrid room equipmentEMR:
Meditech Shift hours: 7:00 AM- 7:00 PM; shift lengths vary based on need (8
- 10• or 12-hour shifts) Scheduled Saturday through Monday On-call requirements apply Weekend work is required based on scheduling needs Requirements Active TX RN license or compact RN license required Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start) Minimum 1 year of recent OR experience required Experience in general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and neuro surgery is required Candidates must not have any gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted One professional reference required (two required for candidates from Florida or Missouri) Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible Additional Information Trauma surgery experience is preferred and will be given priority consideration Vascular surgery experience (e.
