1 Description American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a TX or Compact license, TNCC, and rotating mid-shift availability including some weekends. Details General ED setting treating both adult and pediatric patients Patient ratio of 3-4:1 Rotating mid shifts on a 4x12 schedule: 9:00 AM-9:00 PM and 12:00 PM-12:00 AM Some weekend shifts required Floating required between two ED locations (South and Downtown), which are less than 10 minutes apart 13-week contract Requirements Active TX or Compact RN license currently in hand Required certifications: ACLS, TNCC, ENPC or PALS, BLS, and NRP (NRP may be obtained after start date) Minimum 2 years of ED experience preferred At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred Two supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result will result in automatic cancellation with no exceptions Candidates should avoid any substances that could produce a positive drug screen result prior to and upon arrival, including CBD products
