Brooke Army Medical Center Qualifications:
Associates degree of nursing. Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). ACLS certification. Must maintain a current, active, and unrestricted license from any U.S. State, District of Columbia, U.S. territory or U.S. jurisdiction to provide healthcare within the scope of practice for a specific health care discipline. The RN shall have a minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience in the last four (4) years, post-graduation, as a clinical nurse in medical/surgical. Skill setting up, operating, and monitoring specialized medical equipment (IV infusion pumps, cardiac monitoring devices. Monitor patient responses to treatment and manage adverse reactions to infusion therapy treatments. Management of multiple types of central catheters, including Peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) lines, implanted ports, tunneled catheters, etc. and manage adverse reactions to infusion therapy treatments.
