Proven proficiency in operating room and surgical nursing, with the ability to work independently and confidently manage complex patient needs. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and delegation skills to ensure seamless care delivery. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Sound knowledge of nursing standards, protocols, and safety practices. Nice to

Have:

Experience with advanced surgical procedures or specialized units. Additional certifications such as ACLS, CNOR, or EHR proficiency. Bilingual abilities to enhance patient and family interactions.

Preferred Education & Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. At least 1 year of surgical or operating room nursing experience is highly desirable. Active RN license in Texas or a valid compact license.

Other Requirements:

Valid BLS certification (AHA) required. Willingness to travel and work a schedule including one weekend per month. Ability to adapt to various hospital environments and settings. Job requires adherence to all applicable state, federal, and local laws regarding licensure and certifications.
