Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry Temple, TX | 13-Week Travel Contract | Night Shift 22nd Century Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Med/Surg Telemetry travel assignment in Temple, Texas.

Shift:

Night Shift - 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM 3x12 Schedule Every Other Weekend Required 36 Guaranteed Hours per

Weeks Requirements:

Active RN License AHA BLS Certification Required Minimum 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required Epic experience preferred Urology experience preferred

Unit Details:

Med/Surg Telemetry Transplant Patient Population Post-Operative Surgical Patients Urology Patients Patient Ratio:

4:1 to 5:1

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions Ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control standards
