Job Description

Where You'll Work St. Luke's Health - The Woodlands Hospital is a 245 bed facility serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. The hospital has been recognized as a Best Hospital by U.S. News & World Report, and is proud to serve as the clinical home for the Dan L Duncan Cancer Center. The hospital was awarded an "A" hospital safety grade by The Leapfrog Group in both 2023 and 2025. Clinical services provided include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women's services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level III nurseries), surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorder services. Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Student Nurse, you will provide vital, supervised patient care and support across diverse medical/surgical populations, leveraging your nursing education within a clinical setting.

Every day you will deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene and comfort, meticulously monitoring and documenting clinical activities, and ensuring a safe, organized environment through supply management and strict adherence to safety protocols.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate compassion, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safe, compliant care while actively participating in quality improvement and accurately implementing delegated patient tasks. Provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff Monitors and records vital signs Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output Obtains and records daily weight Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter Job Requirements Required High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or High School GED General Studies, upon hire and Must be enrolled and attending nursing school(must present proof) and Has completed at least one clinical rotation in nursing school, upon hire Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association
