In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care ensuring the highest standards of safety, comfort, and clinical excellence. Your expertise in medical documentation, medication administration, and patient assessment will contribute significantly to positive health outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine individual care needs. Administer medications and injections accurately following aseptic techniques while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies tailored to each patient's requirements. Document all patient interactions meticulously within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner; ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and ICD coding. Support infection control practices and maintain sterile processing standards across clinical environments. Assist with diagnostic evaluations involving laboratory specimen collection/processing and medical imaging procedures like sonography or mammography. Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards including NCQA standards for quality assurance and safety. Skills Proven experience as a RN. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to nursing practice. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges; knowledge of behavioral health is advantageous. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and practicing infection control protocols diligently. Capable of working independently while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
