Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
The IR Registered Nurse assists the Radiologist with procedures performed in the IR Department.
The patient population contains adults, geriatric and pediatric patients. Ionizing Radiation is utilized to perform these studies as well as other imaging modalities.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Completion of Associates Degree, Diploma, or Bachelor/Master of Science in Nursing
Must maintain current Texas RN License
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
