2 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring Epic proficiency and a TX or compact RN license. Details Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting 18 private rooms and one semi-private room with a maximum census of 20 patients Patient population ranges from young adults through geriatrics with a broad range of care needs Patient ratio of 1:6 Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS Minimum 1-2 years of RN experience required Epic EMR experience required 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information Travel nursing experience preferred Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler No travel pairs or groups accepted RTO is limited to no more than 3 days and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
