Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - Cath Lab Job Type Contract Bring your expertise and passion for patient care to a dynamic nursing environment in a vital specialty area. Seeking a Registered Nurse for an engaging contract opportunity in the Cath Lab, with responsibilities that also include support of Interventional Radiology procedures. Successful candidates will possess recent hands-on experience in both Cath Lab and IR settings.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week, typically 8:00 am-6:30 pm (flexibility to adjust to 7:00 am-5:30 pm as required) No set days off within the weekly schedule Rotating call shifts: 8-9 times each month (5:30 pm-7:00 am call coverage) Requirement to participate in one weekend call per month
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Current and valid RN licensure ACLS certification Demonstrated recent experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Flexibility to cover rotating shifts and calls Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a clinical team
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exemplary patient care during cardiac catheterization and IR procedures Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare professionals Provide care before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort Respond promptly and effectively during on-call hours for emergent cases Maintain accurate documentation and support quality improvement initiatives
