Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced Emergency Department. This opportunity is ideal for nurses who thrive in high-acuity environments and have experience caring for patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00
AM Schedule:
36/48 Hour Alternating Schedule (84 Hours Biweekly, 72-Hour) Requirements Active RN License (must be in hand prior to start date) Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience preferred Candidates with 2 years of experience may be considered if they have worked in a high-volume or trauma facility Previous travel nursing experience required Epic charting experience preferred Experience managing a 1:4 patient ratio Required Certifications
BLS ACLS PALS TNCC NIHSS
Clinical Skills IV starts and maintenance Phlebotomy Blood product administration Central line management Arterial line management Emergency medication administration IV vasopressors Dysrhythmia interpretation and management EKG/ECG acquisition and interpretation Care of critically ill and trauma patients Triage experience Splint application and orthopedic trauma care Preferred Experience Trauma Center experience Stroke and STEMI patient care Pediatric emergency care Behavioral health and psychiatric emergencies Ventilator and respiratory support management Neuro-trauma and traumatic brain injury Unit Details 62-room
Emergency Department Patient Ratio:
1:4 Every Other Weekend Required Collaborative support from Respiratory Therapy, Pharmacy, Radiology, Social Services, Physical Therapy, Rapid Response Teams, and other interdisciplinary teams. CA02
Pay:
$2,800.00 - $3,000.00 per week
