1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU Float position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a willingness to float primarily to Med Surg. Details Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float position in a hospital setting, primarily supporting Med Surg Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM

• 7:00 PM, on an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (straight 48s may also be considered) 84 hours biweekly Weekend availability required, which may include most weekends during the contract Block scheduling may be accommodated, but set schedules cannot be approved Floating is a core requirement of this role Epic EMR experience strongly preferred Requirements Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Must be willing to float, primarily to Med Surg 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid all substances that could produce a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and during the assignment
