Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical to join the team on night shifts. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across multiple age groups, from post-partum neonates to geriatric patients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to enhance clinical skills in a rural healthcare setting with exposure to a wide range of patient conditions, including medical, surgical, rehabilitative, pediatric, and high-acuity cases. Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect patient care to medical-surgical patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans based on patient needs and clinical conditions. Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond appropriately to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions. Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Follow infection control protocols , patient safety standards, and quality improvement practices. Participate in wound care, infusion therapy, and post-partum patient care as assigned. Assist with emergency situations and provide rapid clinical response when needed. Support cross-training opportunities in departments such as Emergency Department and PACU when required. Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills. Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and departmental operations.

Requirements:

Active Utah RN License or Compact License Minimum 1 year Med-Surg experience BLS Certification required NRP Certification required (or willingness to obtain within one year) Experience with adult and mother/baby Med-Surg patients preferred

Note :

Anticipated schedule 7 on 7 off, Night shifts (6PM to 6AM)

$2,416.00 per week
