Registered Nurse (RN) Gastrointestinal Oncology Clinic

Inova Schar Cancer Institute's Fairfax location is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the team in our Gastrointestinal cancer clinic. This role will be Full-Time day shift from Monday - Friday. Our clinic is open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No weekends, no holidays, no call. The Great Falls Clinic (5S), which is located within the newly built Inova Schar Cancer Institute, is an outpatient physician clinic whose team members work closely and expertly with our board-certified medical and surgery oncologist and advanced practitioners to serve patients for management of GI and GU cancers. The Registered Nurse provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patients, families, nurses and healthcare delivery teams. Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience.

Education:

BSN or ADN - If ADN then complete BSN within 5 years of start date BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association required RN licensed, and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others. Proficient computer skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Oncology experience strongly preferred Minimum 3-5 years RN experience
